Friends and Family,

As most of you know about me already, I have a bit of what some would call a “bias towards action”.

When I see something that needs done, a need that needs met, or people that need help, I tend to jump in headfirst, or at least with both feet.

In addition to RUCKUS, I have been doing some exciting work for a non-profit called SKATE FOR CHANGE for over a year now. I want to live my life as a story worth telling, and inspire others to do the same along the way. When I first met and began working with Mike Smith (founder of The Bay, and Skate For Change), I knew the world as in for a Hurricane of change and challenge towards the status quo, and I welcomed it with open arms.

I am also lucky enough to have some of the greatest friends and partners a man can ask for, including my amazing friend J.R. Galardi. J.R. is the head of the popular fastfood chain WIENERSCHNITZEL. Once he got involved with Mike, and myself I knew it was only a matter of time before something huge happened between us.

And here it is:
Myself, J.R. Galardi, and Mike Smith, have collaborated our philanthropic passions to create a Hot Dogs for the Homeless Tour; a MONTH-LONG adventure to help those who need it most.

Traveling the country in a 40-foot RV, we will visit 18 U.S. cities, visiting communities with large homeless populations. We will be serving Wienerschnitzel hot dogs and providing socks, clothing, hats, hygiene kits, and other necessities to those who need it the most.

In addition to providing much-needed support to the homeless, we will be stopping at numerous High Schools along the way to support Mike’s youth empowerment and motivational speaking. We will also be participating in panels in each city to communicate the significance of giving back and making a difference in your community.

Throughout the tour and while we are on the High School campuses, we will be selling Wienerschnitzel hot dogs with 100% of the donations raised going back to Skate For Change!!! On top of that - Wienerschnitzel has also committed to matching the amount raised throughout the month to double the total donation back to the organization!!

Its not often you get a corporation to agree to a 1:1 donation match, and that’s where YOU come in!! I am looking for support to fund my trip during the month of April. Even a simple donation of $20 is now $40 thanks to the charity and graciousness of J.R. and Wienerschnitzel!!

Please take the time to think and pray over your donation and your roll in supporting us throughout the month of April. We literally couldn’t do any of this without your encouragement and support.

Here are the dates and cities we will be in! If you live IN/AROUND these areas please let me know!! We are in absolute need of volunteers to help us!

“I want to pick a fight because I want someone else's suffering to matter more to me. I want to slug it out where I can make a meaningful difference. God says He wants us to battle injustice, to look out for orphans and widows, to give sacrificially. And anyone who gets distracted with the trivial details of this point or that opinion is tagging out of the real skirmish.”
